I'm writing this both as a clinician and as a pws. I agree with previous posts that the take you've expressed concerning A Fish Called Wanda may be a misinterpretation of the facts. However, my real concern with bringing it up in this context is that you seem to be doing exactly what you say that stutterers should not do -- this is hanging on to a past event and letting it color your current thinking. The movie came out a couple dozen years ago and perhaps its time to move on from it regardless of what you or I or anyone else thinks about it.
