Ms. Mertz, Congratulations on your achievements! It is nice to hear about your positive experience with Toastmasters. I am a person who doesn’t stutter and before I returned to school I belonged to Toastmasters in Stevens Point, WI. The club had a regular member who spoke with a stutter but it didn’t define him, nor were his presentations held to a different standard than the other club members. We enjoyed learning about his life through his speeches. My hope is that his experience was as positive as the one you have shared.
