Mr. Nsabimana, I want to thank you for sharing this crucial information with the world. I could not believe the statistics in your report about how few trained therapists there are for people who stutter in Africa. I also looked further into the "traditional therapies" that you mentioned, and it is so hard to believe that that those kinds of practices are still present in the world today. I am a speech pathology student in Wisconsin, USA, and I am currently taking a course on Fluency Disorders. There is so much information to cover on stuttering that we have not had time yet to discuss stuttering from a global perspective. Your report has really opened my eyes to the struggles faced by people who stutter all over the world. Thank you so much for all of the work you do; it is people like you who really do make a difference.
