The numbers from your study are alarming, and demonstrate a desperate need for change in Africa. Your findings highlight the need for more education and increasing the availability of appropriate treatment for people who stutter. As a graduate student in Speech and Language Pathology in the US, I find it very interesting to learn about stuttering in different parts of the world. This study has been very informative and eye opening. Thank you for sharing and raising awareness about the struggles faced by people who stutter in Africa.
