Hi Peter, Thanks for a very interesting paper. I have never been on a McGuire course so I've no axe to grind but it does appear to work for many people and I can't help feeling the establishment are a bit uneasy as a result. A bit disappointed with your limited reply to Geoff. It would have been better to refer to the the pioneers of this technique, namely the Del Ferro Institute in Amsterdam. I am sure they must rue the day they introduced the method to Mr Mcguire. The comments by others, especially Lissette, about harming the voice was interesting. Del Ferro, was an American opera singer before becoming a singing teacher.
