In spite of someone's plans, you didn't accept the role that was laid out for you due to your stuttering. It is remarkable how far from those plans you went. You weren't going to be the silent person in the dark, back corner of the lab. Using your stuttering as a positive and becoming something more than even your family saw in you. This is an amazing story of perseverance.
