Mark, you're right that most who stutter share these symptoms too. I think one of the ways to distinguish between overt and covert forms of stuttering is that many people are completely unaware that the PWSC stutters at all. And, another of my points was that, as a consequence, most others don't understand the degree of handicap faced by PWSC.
