A year ago when i worked in my family business,a young man from the warehouse entered to my office,this wasn't the first time i met him. I felt the need to advertise my stuttering,and he replied "i stutter too". I didn't believed him at first,but he explained that he sometimes stuck,but he know how to hide it,and that his friends doesn't know that he stutter.He also told me that he didn't study anything because,"for what i will study if i cant speak over the phone,if i will work in professional job,i will need to talk over the phone,and i wouldn't succeed hiding my stuttering". He also told me that he went to an SLP,and he was told that he need to learn to speak again. I was completely in shock,how he stop himself for living the life,just to hide his mild stuttering. I also think that it is not rational that "mild stutterer" will need to learn to speak again,and to keep hiding his stuttering. Ari
