Thank you for sharing this article, it was very interesting! As a current SLP graduate student who has a big interest in the field of Psychology, your post formulated a question I have regarding both fields. Is it possible to see people who stutter covertly with a diagnosis of an anxiety disorder as well? Their fear of allowing others seeing them stutter seems very similar to the feelings and thoughts of individuals with generalized/social anxiety disorders. I was wondering if there was any correlation between the two?
