Hi Barb.. interesting question.. one of the problems with attempting brain function studies would be that PWSC don't display their stuttering openly so it would be hard getting a clear picture of their brain function. I would venture that the brain would be "lit up" with activity due to the anxiety generated in trying to conceal the stuttering, but I don't know that there would be a brain pattern different for regular stuttering???
