Some of the comments to your article really concern me.Your article deal with stutterers that are completely covert,and maybe they are not the classic stutterers.But every SLP need to know that the amount and the severity he hear in the clinic doesn't tell anything about the real stuttering outside the clinic,if you dont know that you cant really treat stuttering.When i was young i was in therapy with other boy that stuttered very overtly and i was almost fluent there.I remember that I have had mercy on him(cause i thought that i am a lot better),but now i feel that he received an appropriate therapy cause his stuttering was very clear and on the surface,i on the other hand didn't received appropriate therapy cause the therapists thought that i was mild stutterer. So for your attention, don't estimate your patient according to what you hear in the clinic room,in a lot of cases it doesn't mean a thing!
