I really enjoyed reading this article. I'm a graduate clinician, and as I getting ready to graduate and go out on my own, I enjoy learning as much as a can. There are certain areas of fluency disorders that I am more comfortable with than others, and covert stuttering is one of those things that I didn't know much about prior to reading this. Before my fluency class, I didn't even know that covert stuttering existed. My question is how do you identify covert stutterers? Is it based on parent information? If they don't stutter during the assessment process, then how do you know they qualify?
