What my experience has taught me is that there are few generalizations that can be made of all who stutter. From that, each person who stutters is unique and needs to be treated as such. From a learning perspective, I think its important to have a framework (usually of generalities) to work from in assessing the "fit" of each individual within what is felt to be common among people who stutter. Thanks for enabling me to clarify that point.
