Thanks, Ross, for the kind words. What is so fascinating is that whereas I do my disclosure, stutter openly and attempt to be as confident and "normal" as I can (meaning trying to put the face on that the open stuttering is no big deal), I probably get about 95% acceptance and about 5% unacceptance from the professional audience. However, what is so liberating and new for me is that I quit looking for the 5% and just go about my business and don't worry about them. I still want to speak the best I can, stuttering and all, and that's what matters most -- that I truly "communicated" and got my point across and help contribute to moving the story forward.
