Chris, a wonderfully written paper. Of the people that I have seen for therapy over the years I believe those who were the most frustrated by their stuttering where those who also realized that they had the ability to speak and write elequently (which you obviously do). I suppose that people who don't feel that way do not see help (formal treatment or support groups). However you did it,congratulations on your refreshing approach at honestly presenting yourself to your audiance. By the way, I've always heard that a really effective and entertaining speaker will, for whatever reasons, irritate/receive low scores from about 3-5% of an audiance if they are really being honest and on their game. So you are right were you need to be.
