Chris, this is a wonderful story. One of the things I preach to my clients is do not try to be something/someone you are not. I have always found that others seem to take the same attitude about your problems as you do. Living with stuttering is made so much easier if one is open. You state all of this wonderfully well. Congratulations to you--and your children and grandchildren for having you as an example.
