John, thanks for the great encouragement as you always give so well. It's amazing how we start reaching those decisions as we age to not only break through the status quo but to question ourselves as to why we hung on so long to a destructive or life inhibiting habit? Sorta like when you finally overcame the fear of avoiding that first kiss, deciding to do it and then suddenly realizing, "What was I thinking!? I could've been doing this the whole time!". The fear of honesty with stuttering was like that for me--realizing I could've been doing this the whole time and avoided so much pain and internal turmoil for all those many years and missed opportunities.
