Hi Chris, Thank you for contributing such a delightful, enlightening and thought-provoking paper. I readily identified with so much of what you wrote. Perfectionism, avoidance strategies, negative self-talk, fear of humiliation and other aspects of inner turmoil. You name it – I’ve been there too. :-) I greatly admire the paths that you have trodden during recent years. Like you, I have derived immense benefit from adopting a policy of self-acceptance, non-avoidance and greater openness. As you so eloquently expressed, we are now being true to ourselves and, of course, those with whom we come into contact. We are no longer dependent upon the approval/approbation of others and have broken free from thoughts of being judged. It really is SO liberating. Chris, I wish you continued contentment in the fulfilling life that you have created for yourself and loved ones. - HONESTLY! :-) Kindest regards Alan
