Hi Reuben, I really enjoyed your post about being your own SLP. I think you hit the nail on the head in a lot of your assessments of what it takes to become a successful communicator. I'm in grad school for speech therapy now, and I think you're right that communication success can't be earned by 1x per week sessions. It takes a committed effort in everyday life, too. I do have 2 questions for you: Looking back, what advice would you give to someone who is in college and facing a lot of the same issues you faced--like speaking in front of classes and dealing with the ups and downs of fluency? Is there anything you know now that you wish you had known then? Also, you mention professionals and friends who helped along the way. It sounds like you did a lot of the hard work on your own, but did you find any particular therapies helpful or more meaningful than others? Thanks for your time, and congrats on all you have achieved. It's great to see that hard work really does make positive changes. Matt
