Matt, looking back, if my 30 year old self could tell my 20 year old self something, it would be that anything is possible. Be the change you wish to see in yourself, and the world may conspire to help you. The therapy I’ve been involved with is very much a CBT framework. Being robust is more important that being fluent. I find that to be true, powerful and helpful. Thanks for taking the time to read the essay and good luck with grad school.
