That was a great question, and answer Reuben! I'd like to add, that if you can - as an SLP student - try to find opportunity to interact with people you'll be treating, outside of the clinical environment. Want to learn more about what stuttering is really like? Find and attend a stuttering support group, or more than one group. And not just once, but several times. You'll gain a ton of insight into the challenges and mind-set of a person who stutters. I wish you the best of luck in your career! Joe - Seattle Also a stutterer :-)
