Hi Kayla, I’m glad you enjoyed the paper. I think you hit on a very key point, for treatment and for life. Indeed everyone needs to know “you are not alone.” That may be at the heart of the treatment experience, if not of our very existence. I think you are further along than you might think in way of preparation. I hope you find that working with people with communication disorders, and people who stutter in particular, is more than work; it is a joy about which I have never tired on my 35 years of serving as a speech-language pathologist.
