Hi Chandler, I’m glad you enjoyed the paper. You’ve underscored an important point. Stories are what we share. That is how we know we’re alive. Stories connect us over time and place, on this planet and beyond. Also, I think you’re wise to caution over misuse of data. Don’t get me wrong. Data are important; accountability is essential. But certain data surely do not and cannot tell the whole story. Be voracious! Passion is life. If you get a chance, take a look at Richard Flower’s toast to our profession (Asha, 1985) and Steve Jobs’ commencement address (Stanford University, 2005). You’ll enjoy them.
