Hi Linda, I’m glad you enjoyed the paper. Honestly I don’t find that creating opportunities for people who stutter to experience success becomes more challenging for any particular age group. Individual factors, however, may facilitate or inhibit an individual client’s and family’s ability/willingness to acknowledge one’s own success. As stated, success is so individually defined and often experienced in internal if not private ways. This could be said about most of life’s journeys. That is the privilege of the clinician, being let into that private area of in which hope, courage, trust, and faith reside. Keep asking good questions.
