Irene, Thanks for 'visiting' my clinical nugget, and for your kind words. Your question is a good one. I never push this activity--the child has to be up for this challenge. I think it would be too scary to do this without the feeling of readiness. So, I suggest it as an option when I sense that a child may be ready, and only do the activity if the child is up for it. I have been turned down by as many children as have agreed to give it a try. And, that's O.K. with me. Take care, Lynne
