I think this is a wonderful activity! I like how the children can feel in control by coming up with the survey questions and answers. In my fluency disorders class, we discuss how people who stutter feel a loss of control. This activity gives them the opportunity to feel in control and would shape their attitude in a positive way. I could just picture Adam going around and telling people jokes. What a fun activity for him to do! I also like how this activity has the potential to be transferred to adult clients as well. This would be a great activity to give adults a feeling of control. They could also get the answers to some questions they are concerned about by administering a survey. The idea of adding voluntary or easy stutters is great also and gives the client the expectation that they will be stuttering during the activity. I cannot wait to try this activity when I have a fluency client.
