[[Thank you very much for your article and I look forward to your forthcoming book. I was wondering whether mindfulness meditation and resultant enhanced awareness are helpful in implementing therapy tools for either fluency shaping or stuttering modification and whether you have found this personally to be the case. Thanks again.]] >>> Thank you, Frank, for your questions. I have approached the practice of mindfulness and maintain a mindfulness practice with the intent of becoming more peaceful. As a consequence, I have experieced greater ease speaking and communicating as I learn to acknowledge and accept body sensations, emotions, and thoughts and relate kindly to them and as I recognize my kinship with others. Changing how I interact with my internal and external environment has led to changing how I communicate, and that has been for the better. Ellen-Marie Silverman
