I really appreciated the chart that you created because it takes into account the less obvious aspects of stuttering including how people who stutter feel about themselves and what they think about how others view them. I was also interested by your explanation of secondary behaviors being learned. I currently have a client who is a teenager who stutters and often has very tension-filled inhalations during his stutters. This has become more pronounced in recent weeks, possibly due to increased family drama. Do you have any ideas about how to address this in therapy? Any suggestions you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
