Samantha, Great question. It is interesting that we are talking about time-saving tips. I am all about being efficient, but if we accomplish nothing by going too fast, then we have accomplished nothing. I love to eat and I love to cook. In order to make and eat a great meal, it takes lots of extra time. I could make a Bernaise sauce from a packet, or I could make it from scratch. If I wanted it even better I would get farm-fresh eggs and I would grow my own tarragon or search for a good local grwoer. The same thing is the case with therapy. If we want bthe best results, we and the teen who stutters must put in the time. I don't really know the microwave versions of therapy for teens. It takes lots of searching for the best ingredients (in this case the right form of therapy....you must assess the total person to provide te right type of therapy). this in turn will eliminate wasted time of providing incorrect therapies. In other words, the short answer is, "be efficient by providing the right therapy, for the right person, at the right time". When parents and teachers see a teen who stutters making progress and helping themselves in an individual, successful program, it is easy for them to jump on board. No specifics given here, because the best answers is to provide the right treatment for each individual. Thanks again for such a great question. John Tetnowski
