If your objective is to enlist parents in ensuring the kid uses fluency techniques every time he opens his mouth, this probably will not be productive... and the kid probably will join the 85% of stutterers who improve their fluency in therapy but relapse later. Where parents can add value is to create a supportive environment at home in which the kid is encouraged to speak whether or not he is fluent, encouraged to be open about his stuttering, and encouraged to take risks with his speech.
