Thanks Lauren! Some other activities that I use are: 1. Excuses--Excuses (see my response to Kelsey's post) 2. Never Have I Ever...(shamelessly stolen from Reuben Schuff who has a great article posted on this conference) The kids put up five fingers and you go around in a circle. When it is your turn you say "Never have I ever...." and if someone has done that they need to put down a finger. The person left with fingers up is the winner. When it is my turn, I usually say, "never have I ever stuttered in class" and then they will turn on me like a pack of wolves to find ways to get me out. 3. Sticky Uno. You need to say what you are putting down (e.g. I am playing the green three) and you must "stutter on purpose" on the number. It's a great way to practice pseudo stuttering and desensitization. 4. Frozen First word. Play Guess Who and "Freeze" (block) on the first word of your question. Again a great way to practice pseudo stuttering and desensitization. Have fun!!
