Erik, Thank you for sharing your story! I read in your bio that you had been in therapy in middle school and high school, but then you stopped going to therapy for the first year or two of college. I am currently working towards my degree in SLP and my question to you is that when you got to college, is the reason why you stopped attending therapy because there was not anywhere on campus to receive therapy? I ask this because at our campus at Minnesota State University-Mankato we have a Speech and Hearing clinic that is available to students and faculty. Do you think that if there was notification for speech services on your campus that you would have attended sooner? Also, do you think it would be helpful that if there is a clinic available,to post signs or somehow let the students know that the resource is there?
