The main reason why I didn't continue therapy when I went to college was that I wanted to focus on my classes. As I wrote in the article, doing well in my classes and pursuing a career seemed more important to me at that time than stuttering therapy. As for notification of university speech services, I think that I may have sought therapy sooner if I saw a poster or a flyer. In three years of attendance at ISU, I have only once seen a flyer mentioning stuttering.
