Harish, I want to add my congratulations on a heart felt and moving post. As you illustrate, acceptance is an active rather than a passive process. Some associate acceptance with resignation but, in fact it is the first step in taking action. Stuttering is an important part of who you are. And now that stuttering is an acceptable topic of conversation for you (and others) it can continue to be an important part of you story, but no longer THE dominant theme in your life.
