I found your story very moving! Your confidence is amazing and you are not letting anything hold you back. It seems you struggled with this throughout your childhood and then in your older years you were more apt to do something about it. Were you offered speech therapy in your younger years or did you choose not to have it? Also, you seemed to almost fix your stuttering or become "ok" with it on your own. Do you think services from a speech language pathologist would have been beneficial to you prior to this, or was it something you needed to figure out on your own? Sometimes people need to find and become comfortable with themselves before they can accept others opinions/criticism/helping hands, etc.
