I enjoyed reading your article and learning of how you overcame your personal feelings about stuttering. It is very upsetting to read that your principle was discouraging rather than act as a support system for you. Even though you tried to cover your stutter, or stammer as you call it, was it more difficult to actually hide the stutter or was is mentally tasking to always have to make sure that you came off as being fluent?
