Dear Mr. Kirkendoll, Your son I suppose, is inadvertently walking the path of acceptance already. If he is not shy or reluctant to talk.. it means that his stutter doesn't hold him back. He is not try to hide his stutter. If he is able to say, "Yes I stutter, and I am okay about it..." that is a big step towards acceptance. Your son seems to have that attitude in him.
