My two comments are: treat your clients as individuals and place more importance on transfer of new speech skills to the real world. No two stutterers are alike, thus it doesn't make sense to design one therapy model for everyone. Improved fluency in the clinician's office is one thing, but the real test is transfer of those skills to the real world. I liken it to the difference in taking batting practice and then stepping up to the plate in a real game. You have chosen an important career path that can change lives. Good luck.
