Thank you so much for sharing your story! As a graduate student studying speech-language pathology, I find these notes extremely helpful and insightful, not only for me, but for my clients and their families. I found your comment concerning a "cure" interesting because I was having a discussion about the research surrounding the cause of stuttering on another article. While it appears that some people are concerned that the focus of research for stuttering should be on therapy and management, others were adamant about finding a cause and subsequent cure, including PWS. Do you know think a PWS's opinion on this matter is affected by how one feels about his/her own stuttering? What are thoughts on this matter?
