Thank you so much for your post. I really enjoyed reading it and I am very excited about your upcoming book! Given that you had a good experience with therapy later in life and then sent your own children to therapy I imagine you have a positive outlook towards SLP's and their work. However, speech therapy is not so highly regarded in all PWS, specifically younger PWS who do not want to be even more marginalized at school. How do you suggest SLP's approach this issue aside from getting to know their clients personally? Or better yet, how can SLP's remove the stigma that sometimes comes with "going to therapy" when kids are removed from the classroom?
