Mrs. Lisette Wesseling, Shame is an awful feeling. No one wants to feel or be different (in a perceived bad way) from other people. After reading your story it appears to be a fairly long process in trying to rid oneself of that unhelpful feeling. I have to admit that I’m not looking forward to that process myself in relation to a new health diagnosis I have received. Your persistence and hard work in finding a speech therapist who fit your needs could be very helpful, and I hope it continues to work well for you.
