Hello Ms. Lisette Wesseling, I enjoyed reading your article as it was genuine and honest. As a second language speaker myself, I had my moments of shame when I had problems with word fining and experienced dysflueny but I found my old bike and decided to ride it; I am an SLP undergrad student and I believe there is no shame in being different, whether it to be stuttering, blindness, or anything else. The key is to believe in yourself, ignore the distractions and cultivate your talents in your own ways. that's exactly what you have done and I admire people like you. Thank you!
