Thank you for sharing your experience and success in implementing such a fun, effective, and interactive tool! Computer-based software programs (such as Dvolver as well as other Apple related apps) have been a rapidly growing area of interest for Speech Therapists as we continually search for effective tools for fluency intervention in therapy. Do you feel that the children who participated in the activity were more receptive in positively expressing their feelings about stuttering? How so? Personally, do you feel that the Dvolver program could have been improved or modified to enhance the participants’ overall experience? What has been your experience in implementing Dvolver and/or other similar computer-based programs/activities in facilitating fluency and expressive communication in therapy?
