Yes, we started with some warm up activities, like throwing a ball of yarn back and forth across the circle and allowing children to say something about themselves that no one knows. There were lots of little interesting bits, but one young man early on broached stuttering and opened the door for the others. They also had a scavenger hunt which was designed by our fabulous SLP graduate students. The children were assigned teams and had to take a clue and find different stations around campus. At each station, members of the team had to work together to answer riddles. Once the riddles were answered, they would receive another clue and head to the next station.
