The children who took the mike did talk about their experiences with stuttering. I think the theme was set by one rather outspoken young man: He didn't want to come, thought it would be boring and lame, but he really enjoyed it, especially meeting other kids who stutter. It really is common for these kids to have never met another person "like me".
