I really enjoyed your perspective on news media in relation to educating the community about stuttering. The precious minutes you were given were used wisely. The King’s Speech has certainly opened the door for positive conversation regarding stuttering for the general population, as my professor has said many times before. Since your interview and the release of The King’s Speech have you seen a shift in thinking in the general population regarding those who stutter? Do you have other ideas for using The King’s Speech for educating the general population about stuttering?
