I was wondering what advice you would give to an up and coming Speech Language Pathologist on trying to inform the public on stuttering and in approaching the client with an open agenda what should they keep in mind? I do agree with your article on the fact that stuttering was kind of on a back burner with society, but once the movie came out it was like everyone was enthralled with it, but just like all other things it died down and will become an outdated piece of information with society. The problem with this is that it is always evolving and each person who stutters is different and will present with different characteristics and society will be nowhere near updated on the issue.
