I agree, Janet. I think one issue is that stuttering is so full of gray areas, which are best stated with explanations, qualifiers, etc. My goal was to sound more sound-bitey, something that seemed to work pretty well during the interview in my office (though I suppose we'll never know for sure). On TV, of course, it was more diffciult in that the questions asked didn't match my prepared sound bites.
