This is a great article and I agree with many things in it. For example, I once got pulled over and when trying to speak to the police officer I had some bad blocks. Its already scary talking to police officers but for PWS it is terrifying. He asked me why I was so nervous and immediately asked if I had any weapons or drugs in the car. He accused me of having these just because I thought I was nervous. I explained the situation to him and he under stood. But a disability, from what I've herd, is something that cannot be cured, like losing a arm, deafness, blindness... While stuttering can, and has been, cured for many people with the right form of therapy. With this said, I don't see stuttering as a disability (I stutter myself). Although, if say the police officer had thought that he had reason to search my car, and would if I did have something illegal in my car (I didn't), would it hold up in court that he did not have good reason to search my car just because I appeared to be extremely nervous, yet it was actually just my speaking disability? Something to think about. Al
