If a person who stutters is stuck on a sound or word and there are moments of silence, what is an appropriate way for the listener to respond? I know it must differ for all people and their individual comfort levels, but personally, how would you prefer the person respond/react? To look away, make eye contact, say "it's okay?", etc.?
